These two (2) ORIGINAL, lobby cards were designed and printed to promote the first theatrical release of
the 1959 American comedy/history/romance feature, THE DEVIL’S DISCIPLE.
The film stars Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, and Laurence Olivier, with Janette Scott, Eva LaGallienne, Roland Kibbee, Harry Andrews, Basil Sydney, George Rose, and Mervyn Johns.  The film was based on a play by George Bernard Shaw, and was directed by Guy Hamilton.
The lobby cards are ORIGINAL lobby cards.  They are NOT reprints, reproductions, re-issues, or commercial items available to the general public. They were created to be displayed in the movie theatre lobby to publicize the film.

CONDITION DEFECTS
The lobby cards are in excellent condition.  Card #4 (Lancaster) has a 1/4″ nick on the top edge, and seven pin holes.  Card #7 (Douglas) has two pieces of tape on verso, that were NOT applied for restorative purposes.  There are no other tears, fading, stains, smudges, missing paper, folds, or pin holes.
